摘要
为了探讨口译学习者社会支持与口译焦虑之间的关系,本文选取广东省内7所高校翻译专业的177名大学生为被试,采用社会支持量表和口译焦虑量表对被试进行调查。研究结果表明:女性口译学习者的社会支持水平高于男性口译学习者,参加过社会化培训的口译学习者的社会支持水平高于未参加过社会化培训的口译学习者;女性口译学习者比男性口译学习者有着更高的口译焦虑;社会支持与口译焦虑之间成负相关;社会支持对口译焦虑有一定的预测作用,提高社会支持对降低口译焦虑有一定的作用。
This paper investigates 177 BTI trainees among seven universities in Guangdong by scale tests to explore the relationship be- tween their social support and interpreting anxiety. The survey presents that female interpreting trainees enjoy a higher level of social support than their male counterparts, and those with the experience of social interpreting training have a better social support than those without ; female trainees tend to have more anxiety than males ; the level of social support is negatively correlated to the level of anxiety; social support has certain predictive effect on the interpreting anxiety and the increasing level of social support is helpful to reduce the trainees ' anxiety.
