娥川主人的创作观彰显道德劝惩意图,他在《世无匹》中,把正反两类人物的两种品德、命运加以对比,目的是通过展示尚"义"和负"义"的不同后果,告诫世人弃恶扬善。娥川主人之所以突出小说的道德劝惩作用,原因在于他对世风浇薄、道德沦丧的现实深感忧虑,作者在《世无匹》中从不同角度展示了世风浇薄、道德沦丧的现象及原因,并提出改变现状的办法。因作者刻意强调道德劝惩的意义,造成人物形象失真的缺憾。

Echuanzhuren＇s creation concept manifested his intention of moral admonishment. In his Shi Wu Pi, he compared the moralities and fates between the positive and negative characters so as to warn the common people to promote morality and discard wickedness by presenting the different consequences between exercising morality and discarding morality. The reason why Echuanzhuren highlighted the effect of moral admon- ishment lay in that he deeply worried about the lack of and decline in public morality and ethics at that time. In his Shi Wu Pi, he exposed this phenomenon and its cause from different viewpoints, putting forwards some countermeasures. He overemphasized the significance of moral admonishment, so there were defects that the characters in his novel appeared to be somewhat unreal.
