First Ancient Stone Village in Jiangbei——Study on the Protection of Yingtan Ancient Village in Xingtan, Hebei Province

英谈古寨是由路姓家族血缘纽带建立的堡寨聚落,具有典型古太行建筑风格,是国内保存最完整的石头城堡群之一,是研究明清冀南地区乡村文化和冀商经济的重要实物,也是研究军事堡寨防御体系的宝贵资料。本文对古寨选址、历史沿革、格局与风貌、建筑与院落展开研究,并提出保护价值及建议。

Yingtan Ancient Village is a castle type village created by Lu family, which has a typical Taihang building feature, It is one of the most completely preserved stone castle buildings in the country; an important research object for study on the rural culture and economy of Hebei＇s southern part in both Ming and Qing Dynasties; and also an important research object for the study of military fortress defense system. This paper studies Yingtan Ancient Village＇s site selection, history, pattern, style, architecture and courtyard, and puts forward the protection value and suggestion.
