摘要
正交频分复用(OFDM)系统的峰均功率比(PAPR)过大是限制其广泛使用的一个严重问题。降低OFDM系统PAPR的限幅法操作简单、计算量少,但会引入限幅噪声,增加系统误码率。部分传输序列(PTS)法是一种复杂度较高的降低PAPR的有效方法,将PTS法加以改进并与限幅技术结合,可进一步改善限幅技术造成的信号失真。仿真结果表明,该方法不仅能够降低OFDM系统的PAPR,而且系统的误比特性能也得到提高。
Excessive PAPR(peak-to-average power ratio) in OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system is a serious problem which restricts its applications. Clipping is a method to reduce PAPR with simple operation and little calculation; but it will introduce clipping noise and increase bit error rate of the system. Partial transmit sequence(PTS) is another effective method with high complexity to reduce PAPR. PTS method is improved and combined with clipping technique, which can further reduce the signal distortion caused by clipping. The simulation results show that this method can not only reduce the PAPR of OFDM system, but also improve the bit error performance of the system.
