Anti-Americanism is not a new phenomenon in international politics, and it has existed for a long time in Russian society. After the Ukrainian crisis,anti-Americanism has been aggravated in Russia: according to survey data, images of the United States and its president continue to decline; the American consumption culture faces the boycott; and Russians hold more hostile attitudes towards America. The crisis in Ukraine has given rise to series of changes of Russia's internal and external situation, which is the direct cause of the growing anti-Americanism in Russia. The spread of anti-Americanism poses a challenge to the global image of the United States and Russia-America relations.
