This paper introduced the detection principle of impact echo method,using this method detected the concrete internal defects of a sluice upstream counterfort wing wall panel,and through the ultrasonic method and drilling method to verify the accuracy of test results,pointed out that the impact echo method was a nondestructive detection method could be applied to internal defects of hydraulic engineering concrete structure.
