This paper briefly described the main work contents of deep foundation pit engineering,based on the disadvantages of traditional foundation pit design method,discussed the advantages of BIM technology in foundation pit design,and discussed the BIM model construction and information exchange sharing technology in foundation pit design,pointed out that BIM technology could effectively improve the construction efficiency of foundation pit engineering.
