Influence of Cultural Ideas of Song Dynasty on Composition of Landscape Paintings

宋代的绘画尤其是山水画之所以能够取得巨大的成就,与其同时期的文化思想不无关系。中国画历来讲究理性与非理性的合一,宋代画家在认知态度上以理性思维方式为主,但同时也在求变化、求发展,这使得宋代山水画在整个山水画历史上写下了重要的一笔。

Achievements of paintings in Song Dynasty, especially its landscape paintings, are closely related to the cultural ideas of that time. Chinese painting always values integration of rational and irrational ideas. Although painters of Song Dynasty take a rational cognitive attitude they also pursue changes and development, thus leaving an important touch in the history of Chinese landscape painting.
