Pathological Insight of Mutual Transformation Between Yin and Yang in Bipolar Disorder and Its Guide

双相障碍是一类躁狂和抑郁两种状态在同一病人身上间歇交替反复发作的精神障碍。双相障碍的病因和发病机制仍不清楚。文章尝试阐释双相障碍的阴阳转化病机内涵,并在此基础上指出双相障碍发病机制研究的方向,为中西医结合治疗双相障碍提供理论基础,同时亦从现代生物医学的角度丰富和具体化中医阴阳学说的内容。

Bipolar disorder is a kind of mental disorders that a patient suffers from repeated alternation between manic episode and depressive episode. However,the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease remains uncertain. This text tries to elucidate the pathological insight of mutual transformation between Yin and Yang in bipolar disorder and puts forward thoughts of how the research for the pathogenesis of the disease should proceed based on this insight. All these provide the theoretical basis for combination of Chinese and western medicine to treat bipolar disorder,which meanwhile enrich and specialize Yin-Yang theory in Chinese medicine from modern biomedicine.
