Objective: To observe the effect of modified Sini Simiao powder on inflammatory factors and immune indexes in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease of accumulation and stasis of damp-heat. Methods: 90 cases of patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease of accumulation and stasis of damp-heat were selected as researched objects and divided randomly into treatment group and control group,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with intravenous drip of routine antibiotics, while the treatment group was treated in combination with modified Sini Simiao powder. The changes of inflammatory factors and immune indexes of patients were observed before and after treatment in two groups. Results: The total effective rate in treatment group was 95. 56%,while in control group 77. 78%,and the difference between two groups was statistically significant( P〈0. 05). The level of indexes of IL-6,hs-CRP,IL-8 etc. inflammatory factors in treatment group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P〈0. 05). Compared the level of T lymphocyte subsets after treatment in treatment group with that in control group, the difference was statistically significant( P〈0. 05). Conclusion: The effect of modified Sini Simiao powder on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease of accumulation and stasis of damp-heat is satisfactory, which can effectively control the level of inflammatory factors, improve the immune function of body, and has a positive effect on reduction of recurrence rate and improvement of prognosis.
