摘要 呼吸道合胞病毒感染是常见的呼吸道感染性疾病,婴幼儿和老年人感染后可引起严重症状。动物模型是研究RSV感染疾病特征,评价治疗药物或预防性疫苗有效性的重要方面,不同的动物模型反应了疾病感染的不同方面,应基于研究目的和科学假设选择适合的动物模型,本文主要对RSV感染的各动物模型的优势和局限性进行总结,为新药的研发提供参考。 Infection with the human pneumovirus pathogen,respiratory syncytial virus( hRSV),causes a wide spectrum of respiratory diseases,notably among infants and the elderly. Laboratory animal studies permit detailed experimental modeling of hRSV disease and are therefore indispensable in the search for novel therapies and preventative strategies. These diverse animal models reproduce different features of hRSV disease,and their utilization should therefore be based on the scientific hypothesis under investigation. The purpose of this review is to summarize the strengths and limitations of each of these animal models. The intent is to provide a resource for investigators and an impetus for drug research.
