译者闵福德研究(1996—2016):现状与展望

Review of the Study of the Translator John Minford(1996-2016): Status Quo and Prospect

闵福德在中国文学领域译笔不辍40载,有力地推动了中国文学走向世界。为了解译者闵福德在国内的研究状况,本文对1996—2016年间中国"大陆、台湾、港澳"学者的相关发文进行定量和定性分析。结果表明研究总体态势良好,与国外译者研究重点接轨且呈现出跨学科的特征。但还存在研究作品范围窄、中文底本意识弱和研究深度聚焦浅的问题。为此,本文提出一些改进建议,以期促进译者闵福德研究及推动中国文学更好地走出去。

John Minford has taken forty years in translating and promoting Chinese literature. This paper investigates domestic relevant research articles on the translator Minford in the mainland of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan with quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the status quo, The results indicate that the general research trend is favorable, and the research foci conform to that in the field of translation studies abroad. The research perspectives also present interdisciplinary features. However, it needs to be pointed out that the scope of the translated works, the awareness of Chinese version and the depth of exploration are beyond satisfactory. Therefore, the authors put forward some suggestions to push forward the study of the translator Minford, thus facilitating the global acceptance of Chinese literature.
