党的建设是一个系统工程。党员的思想道德直接关系党的思想建设的成效。道德的目标是善的实现。能否以实现最广大人民的利益作为道德意识的出发点,是判断党员道德善的标准。党员善的道德养成必须通过善的意识培养、善的道德行为的实践展开,最后通过善的道德理想人格的塑造才能实现。党员道德建设必将带动整个社会的道德建设,对社会主义精神文明的发展具有巨大的推动作用。同时,党员的道德建设也有利于从严治党目标的实现。

The moral cultivation of the Party members must be carried out through the cultivation of the consciousness of good and the practice of good moral behavior. The mor- al construction of the party members will promote the moral construction of the whole society, and has a great role in promoting the development of socialist spiritual civilization. At the same time, the moral construction of the Party is also conducive to strictly govern the Party.
