史志意蕴·史诗风格——评陈忠实的长篇小说《白鹿原》

The Implication of Historical Logging and the Style of Epic: Comment on Cheng Zhongshi's Full-length Novel "White Deer Plain"

《白鹿原》作为20世纪90年代优秀长篇小说,其在时间上跨越半个世纪,即从清末民初之始,延伸至当代文革。作者通过对白鹿两家命运的描述,述说"民族秘史"。该小说从出版之日起至今仍受到学者的高度关注,尤其是在近几年中,关于《白鹿原》评论文章已有数百篇,而其史志意蕴、史诗风格仍值得人们的深入挖掘。2016年笔者通过对小说的再次阅读,从作者对白嘉轩的人物刻画和白家祠堂这个特有环境背景的设置两个角度上,对小说《白鹿原》史志意蕴和史诗风格进行诠释。

＂White Deer Plain＂, as an excellent full-length novel during the 1990s, covers a span of half a century from the beginning of the late Qing Dynasty to the contemporary Cultural Revolution. Through the narration of the fates of the Bai family and the Lu family, the writer tells the ＂secret history＂ of the nation. The novel has been highly accepted by scholars since the date of publication, especially in recent years, hundreds of commentaries were written on it. The implication of historical logging and the style of epic are still worthy of further discoveries. After reading the novel for another time in 2016, the writer of this paper interprets the implication of historical logging and the style of epic in this novel from such two angles as the author＇s character portrayal of Bai Jiaxuan and the setting of the Bai family＇s ancestral hall as the unique background.
