平易而不平淡 精致却不雕琢——谈新诗的发展方向

Plainness other than Dullness,Refinement other than Baroque:Analysis of Trends of Chinese Modern New Poetry

自新文化运动开始到现在,从开始时期与古典诗学传统的决裂和向西方诗歌的借鉴,到今天的走向综合与融合,中国的新诗已经开始走向成熟。同时,中国的新诗也有诸多问题需要梳理。诗歌始终是时代灵魂的声音,是生命感受的回响。新的生活与新的时代需要新的诗歌,新的诗歌也始终要面向新的现实和自身的传统。以个体生命感受为出发点,吸纳古今中外一切有益因素,追求一种平易而不平淡、精致而不雕琢的审美品格,应是当代中国新诗发展的方向。

From New Culture Movement to the present, Chinese modern new poetry has gone into maturity from revolting against classical poetics at early stage to learning from western poetics, and then finishing the task of the synthesis and integration nowadays. Meanwhile, in the process of the development of Chinese modern new poetry, there arise many problems which needs systemizing. Poetry is an ex- pression of the spirit of times and the experience of the individual life. A new life and a new era need a new form of poetry ; and new po- etry needs a new reality and a new tradition. Based on the experience of the individual life as well as the absorption of the advantages both ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, we should adopt the writing style of plainness other than dullness, refinement other than baroque, which are the trends of Chinese Modern New Poetry.
