Bamboo rat is unique wild animal in China.Its meat is tender,low fat,and nutritious,that＇s not only edible and can be used as a medicine,but also good industrial raw materials.Its farming scale is increasing because of high economic value.So the breeding bamboo rat is a key of farming process.This article summarized the breeding,nursing mother prenatal postpartum in breeding season,caring newborn rats,common diseases and treatment.
