The Feature of Folk Culture in the Xijing at the Liao and Jin Dynasties

辽金西京大同及其周围地区是汉族与少数民族相互杂居的地带,由于辽金时期战乱频仍、政权并立,因而使得在辽金时期这一地区的民族融合现象更为显著。在民族融合的背景下,受政治、经济、军事、地理等因素的影响,辽金西京地区的民俗不仅充斥着汉族的元素,也注入了少数民族特有的文化因子。

The period of Liao and Jin Datong and its surrounding areas were zones, where the Han nationality and minority lived. Because war happened frequently during this period, regime, Liao period phenomenon of integration in this area was very sig- nificant. In the national integration, political, economy, geography, military, migration of population, and the influence of ruling class, the folk culture in the Xijing region in this period not only has the elements of the Han nationality, but also with a few nation- al elements.
