用非线性附加耦合腔来产生超短脉冲的实验研究

Experimental Study of Ultrashort Pulse Generation ina Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser with an Auxiliary Nonlinear Cavity

摘要 本文对在非线性附加耦合腔中加KTP倍频晶体来锁定脉冲Nd:YAG激光器模式进行了系统的实验研究,给出了主腔与附加腔之间的腔长失谐度,KTP晶体所放位置,激光器工作电压以及腔镜的反射率等参量与锁模激光输出特性之间的关系曲线。 A systematically experimental study concerning the mode-locking of a pulsed Nd:YAG laser based on a nonlinear auxiliary cavity containing a frequency-doubling crystal KTP is reported in this paper. Curves showing the dependence of laser output characteristics on parameters such as the cavity length dctuning between the main cavity and the auxiliary cavity, location of the nonlinear crystal KTP. operating voltage of the laser and the refcctivity of the cavity mirrors etc. are given. Under the optimal condition, the shortest output pulse duration at 0.53μm measured by a streak camera is about 10 ps.
