A new method for recording rainbow hologram of 2-D transparent object using cylindrical lens array is proposed in this paper. There is no need of imaging lens and slit or synthetic slit in this method Using this simple procedure we have obtained wide sight rainbow hologram. The monochromaticity of reconstructive image and the structure of cylindric lens arc discussed.
