Some Approaches to the Development of Retail Business in Shanghai

经营成本不断上涨、消费需求结构调整、网络零售快速发展等诸多因素正不断冲击着实体零售的发展。导致实体零售目前困境的成因有内外两方面:一方面是市场需求放缓、成本上升、电商冲击等外部挑战,另一方面则是不能及时根据消费市场变化做出调整等内因。面对这一现状,2016年双11当天,就在阿里、苏宁等电商交易额再破新高之时,中国政府网发布了《国务院办公厅关于推动实体零售创新转型的意见》,该《意见》从调整商业结构、创新发展方式、促进跨界融合三个方面明确了创新转型的9项主要任务,并从优化发展环境、强化政策支持两个方面提出了7类政策措施。通过对2016年一系列零售数据分析,我们认为,尽管目前面临危机,但一旦加快了创新步伐,实体零售仍拥有广阔的前景。

Rising operating costs,consumer demand structure adjustment,the rapid development of online retail and many other factors are having a constant impacton the development of entity retailing.There are internal and external causes of the current dilemma of entity retailing.On the one hand,the external challenges such as the slowdown in market demand,rising costs,the impact of electronic commerce emerges.And on the other hand,it fails to make adjustments in time according to the changes of the consumer market.Facing this,on November 11,2016,when the electric business transactions of Ali and Suning break the new high,the Chinese government network released the ＂ Views Given by General Office of the State Council on the Promotion of Retail Innovation and Transformation＂.The ＂Views＂ have clarified the nine main tasks of innovation and transformation from the three aspects including adjusting the commercial structure,innovating the development mode and promoting the crossborder integration,and put forward seven kinds of policy measures from the aspects of optimizing the development environment and strengthening the policy support.After analyzing a series of 2016 retail data,we believe that despite the current crisis,once the pace of innovation has accelerated,physical retail still has a broad prospect.
