摘要
弦振动研究有着悠久的历史,18世纪20~30年代泰勒与约翰·伯努利的研究是其重要组成部分。梳理泰勒与约翰·伯努利确定弦振动绝对频率及形状的研究工作,探讨了其工作对音乐、物理学、数学产生的影响。泰勒与约翰·伯努利从理性力学的角度展开了对弦振动问题的研究,从而完成了弦振动研究历程中的一次重要变革。
The studies on vibrating string, in which Taylor and John Bernoulli' s studies were an important part from 1720s to 1730s, have persisted for a long time. The studies on determination of the absolute frequency and shape of string by Taylor and John Bernoulli are re-explored, with the status of their work in whole studies on vibrating string and the effect of their studies on music, physics and mathematics assessed in this paper. It marks a great change that Taylor and John Bernoulli' s studies start with the perspective of rational mechanics in the history of the study on vibrating string.
