This paper is a translation excerpt from the original transcripts of the proceedings at the International Mili- tary Tribunal for the Far East now preserved in the National Archives of the United States. It focuses on the documents record- ing his war crimes which include planning the September 18th Incident, scheming the founding of Manchukuo, and permitting his troons to crnellv nersecute and indiscriminatelv kill the allied nrisoners of war and civilians.
