《花间集》是中国词史上第一部文人词集。在西方世界,首先对《花间集》(Among the Flowers:the Hua-chien Chi)进行全本英译尝试的是美国汉学家傅恩。这也是迄今为止唯一的一部《花间集》全译本。美国汉学家傅恩的深厚汉学学术背景直接体现在译本的体例之中。她的翻译策略以传递词体特征为指归,以中国文化的传译为目的。30余年来,傅恩《花间集》译本流传至全球四大洲的不同国家和地区,产生了巨大的影响,成为中国文学走向世界的经典译著之一。

Among the Flowers is the first ei-poems anthology of literati in the history of Chinese el-poetry. By now, the only trans- lated version of Among the Flowers in the West is the one completed by American sinologist Lois Fusek. The rendered anthology has been conducted by Fusek＇s sinological identity. Her translating tactics is aiming at reproducing the original ci-poetic features, and con- veying Chinese culture to the foreign readers. In the past three decades and more, Fusek＇s translated Among the Flowers had gone into various countries and regions in four continents, influenced far and wide, and became one of the canonized translated Chinese literature masterpiece in the world.
