Paper analyzes the content of ecological assessment and application of 3S technology in ecological evaluation of national iron project according to the actual working experience. 3S being used in EIA, which not only can reduce manpower and material inputs,but also can draw and give data processing by combining space data with property data.It provides quantitative technical supports for EIA.
