Holy Mount Zhari

马年转冈底斯山，猴年转扎日神山，羊年转纳木错”。在藏族地区历代相传。藏族群众奉扎日为世界二十四大名山之首，是佛教理想中的“胜乐金刚宫”。藏族信徒们说，每转一次扎日神山和措嘎神湖，可以洗去前世今生的罪孽。可让今生逢凶化吉，死后魂归极乐。

It is believed to pilgrimage to Mount Kailash at the year of Horse,to Mount Zhari at the year of Monkey,and to Mount Namco at the year of Sheep.Tibetan people consider Mount Zhari as the first mount among 24 famous mountains and as the Buddhist ideal"chakrasamvara palace".They believe that every pilgramage to the mountain Zhari and lake Cuoga can wash away the sin of life and can help soul back to Pure land after the death.Therefore,the pilgramage to Mountain Zhari at the Tibetan year of Monkey is an important religious activity of the Tibetan people.
