This paper describes the types and characteristics of the journal,and then compares the traditional and electronic journals,network journals.It analysis their advantages and disadvantages.Finally,it discusses how to handle the relationship between the traditional journals and the electronic journals 、web journals,to meet the needs of different audiences in the university library.
