As the compulsory course for those majoring in marine engineering,marine engineering English is also a necessary subject of national united test for sea-going ship officers' competency certificate.The paper,based on deep analysis of knowledge structure and exam contents of 45th-48th marine engineering English test,summarizes the new direction and provides references and suggestions on education and training of marine engineering English.
