On the Image of Ah Q

从阿Q这一人物形象的历史与社会来源、阿Q精神即国民劣根性的实质和阿Q集悲喜剧特色于一身的特点三个角度寻找《阿Q正传》中阿Q从文学人物上升到社会典型乃至成为一个时代、一个阶层代名词的原因,实际上阿Q这一人物形象就是因其超阶级性、超民族性,而最终成为文学中的经典人物和鲁迅小说中最具有时代与社会特征的典型。

This article aimed at finding out the reasons why the literature image,Ah Q,in The True Story of Ah Q,became a typical social image,and even a typical image of the time and class by analyzing from the following three points: the historical and social origin of Ah Q,spirit of Ah Q——the nature of civil people's inferior deed,and Ah Q's tragicomic feature.It was emphasized in this article that the supranationality made Ah Q become both a typical image in literature and the best representative of class and society in Lu Xun's novels.
