It is clear that Engineering Materials course is important to impart knowledge to students. Also, it is essential to improve students＇creativity and comprehensive quality. Based on one main line in Engineering Materials course, it is imperative＇to emphasize four aspects such as combining class teach- ing with experiments, combining modern education with traditional teaching. On the other hand, it is necessary to combine theoretical teaching with practical teaching. Finally, it is absolutely required that course teaching should integrate with specialty education. Therefore, the paper points out that it is very important to create philosophy thinking in teaching the course of Engineering Materials. The purpose is to cultivate student ability in solving practical issues and emphasize strategic education of specialty knowledge.
