Interpretation and Research of Safety Standards for Travel Adaptors

本文通过解读新出版的英国BS 8546:2016旅行转换器安全标准的主要检测要求,结合其它标准,例如澳大利亚AS/NZS 3122、美国UL 498A,详细地阐述了各国标准的侧重点。并且通过介绍一些正在制定的标准,例如IEC 60884-2-5 ed.2:201X(文档版本号23B/1213/CDV)、德国DIN VDE V 0620-500-1:201X等,探讨一下该类产品未来的设计趋势。

Through interpretation of the main testing requirements in the safety standard of travel adopter, BS 8546：2016, which is newly published in UK, and combined with other relevant standards, such as AS/NZS 3122 in Australia and UL 498A in United States, this paper expounds the emphasis in different countries＇ standards re- spectively in detail. In addition, based on the introduction of other standards developing, such as IEC 60884-2-5 ed.2：201X and DIN VDE V 0620-500-1：201X in Germany, the design trend of this kind of product is discussed.
