The Pragmatic Functions of the Reproachful Discourse Marker Bu shi wo shuo ni

现代汉语口语交际中,"不是我说你"是一个典型的话语标记,其语用功能主要表现在语篇组织和交际情态表达两方面。在语篇组织上,它具有开启话轮、延续话题和转移话题的功能;在交际情态表达方面,根据后续句的语义特点,可表示责怨、命令、禁止和劝说等语气,其核心功能是表示责怨语气。

Bu shi wo shuo ni is a typical discourse marker in the oral communication of modern Chinese. It has two main pragmatic functions,namely the discourse organization and the communicative modality ex- pression. As for the discourse organization,it has the functions of opening the turn of communication,con- tinuing the topic and transferring the topic. As for the communicative modality expression,according to the semantic features of the subsequent sentence,it performs the functions of blaming, commanding, forbidding and persuading, but its core function is the expression of a reproachful tone.
