摘要
《故事新编》写作时间的前后跨度超逾十年,作者不同时期的遭遇和心态的差异必然影响到《故事新编》前后期小说的风格嬗变,这是为很多学者所认同和解读过的。但不论是整部《故事新编》试图"补"中华民族文化之天,却终究落得个空空如也的结局,还是《故事新编》与《野草》相通的在对虚妄和黑暗有着真切体验后形成的知其不可为而为之并推崇和维护个性自由的生存哲学,都传递出了前后连贯的苦痛感。正是在这个意义上,完全可以将其视为一颗完整的"苦果子"。
The Old Tales Retold has been wrote over 10 years, so the writer's different experiences and mindset must influence the style of the novel, which has been approved and studied by many scholars. However, both the fact that the whole Old Tales Retold attempts to repair the sky of Chinese national culture but fail in the end and the same existential philosophy in it and the Wild Grass knowing the im-possibilities but persevering and maintaining personal freedom after feeling the nothingness and darkness clearly, express coherent pain. In this sense, the Old Tales Retold can be regarded as a complete "bitter fruit"
