茶树遗传育种是茶学学科的重要研究方向,其研究对象是茶树遗传理论和良种选育技术。2016年国内外发表的有关茶学学术论文中,有154篇与茶树遗传育种研究有关,其中国内期刊发表论文80篇。这些论文涉及茶树遗传资源及其分类、育种材料创新、育种鉴定、新品种选育、良种繁育与良种良法等研究内容。本文综述了2016年度茶树遗传育种领域的研究进展。

The genetics and breeding of tea plant are important research areas of tea science disciplines, which involve the study on genetic mechanism and breeding technology of tea plants. In 2016, there were 154 academic papers involving in the research field of genetics and breeding of tea plants, among which 80 were published in domestic journals. The topics of these papers included tea germplasm resources and their classification, innovation of breeding materials, identification and breeding of improved tea cultivars, propagation and cultivation of the obtained thoroughbred tea cultivars. The advances in tea genetics and breeding in 2016 were reviewed in the present paper, which provides reference for related researchers.
