Statistical Methodology of TCM Syndrome Study

目的:中医证候数据有其独特的复杂性,对中医证候的研究也一直是中医现代研究中的重点,探讨近年来中医证候学研究中的常用统计分析方法。方法:通过对近年来中医证候统计方法的论述与举例,探讨回归分析、主成分分析、因子分析、关联分析、决策树分析、聚类分析、结构方程、人工神经网络等多种统计分析方法各自的特点。结果:统计分析可以作为中医证候学研究的一项重要工具。结论:结合中医证候数据特点运用不同的统计分析方法有助于中医证候的科学化、标准化。

Objectives： TCM Syndrome data has its own unique complexity. The study of TCM syndrome has also been a focus in modern study. In this paper we discussed the statistical analysis methods commonly used by TCM syndrome study in recent years. Methods： Through the statistical method of TCM syndromes discussed with an example,in this paper we discussed the characteristics of a variety of statistical analysis methods including Regression Analysis,Principal Component Analysis,Factor Analysis,Association Analysis,Decision Tree,Cluster Analysis,Structural Equation Modeling,Artificial Neural Network. Results： Statistical analysis can be used as an important tool in the study of TCM syndrome. Conclusion： Combining with the characteristics of TCM syndrome data using different methods of statistical analysis helps to scientification and standardization of syndromes.
