Discussion on the Strategy of Mobile Reference Service in Library

随着参考材料数字化趋势的不断增长,参考咨询的概念有了很大变化。移动通讯系统的出现和对移动参考服务需求的强烈愿望,促使许多图书馆提供移动相关的服务。现在可以利用手机查阅大多数的参考资料,但没有统一的移动接口,它是传统参考服务的替代物。本文着眼于多年参考服务的演变和一些特殊的参考服务,以新加坡国立大学图书馆为例,为大学图书馆创建移动参考服务提供借鉴。

Because of the increasing trend of digital reference materials, the concept of reference service has changed a lot. The emergence of mobile communication systems and the requirement of mobile reference have prompted many libraries to provide mobile related services. Nowadays, most of the reference sources can be accessed by mobile phone, which is an alternative to traditional reference service. But there is no unified mobile interface yet. This article focuses on the evolution of the reference service and takes National University of Singapore Library as an example to provide reference for domestic university library.
