Comprehensive Economic Strength of Urban Agglomeration in Anhui in China

提高城市群综合实力,推动新型城镇化健康发展,是安徽省很长时间内的重要任务。研究三大城市群经济密度、经济密度变异系数和综合经济实力发现:合肥的经济密度高居全省第一位,且与省内其他城市差距显著;各城市群内部经济密度差异较大,皖江城市带最高,皖北城市群最低;除皖江城市带外,其他城市群内部经济发展差距呈增大之势;城市的工业发展越好,城市的综合实力得分越高。

It is a very important task for Anhui to improve the comprehensive strength of urban agglomeration and the healthy development of new urbanization. The economic density, economic density coefficient of variation and comprehensive economic strength are as follows： Hefei ranks the first and the gap between Hefei and other cities is significant. Wanjiang is in the highest level, while Wanbei is in the lowest level . In addition to the urban agglomeration of Wanjiang, the internal economic development gap of urban agglomerations is increasing. And if the urban industrial development is better, the urban comprehensive strength is higher.
