戏剧翻译中异化与归化:《天边外》两译本对比研究

Domestication and Foreignization in Drama Translation——Comparative Study of the Two Chinese Versions of Beyond the Horizon

戏剧翻译是一种特殊的文学翻译,它既有自己的特点又有文学翻译的共性。在戏剧翻译的过程中,不同的译者会采用不同的翻译策略。拟选择荒芜和王海若的两个译本,通过对《天边外》两位译者所采用的不同翻译策略进行对比分析,发现王海若过度的异化和硬译以及过度的归化使译文缺失了原作的美感。

Drama translation is a kind of special literature translation, which is different from literature translation but it has its own features. The different translators will adopt disparate strategies in the process of drama translation. The two versions is selected from HuangWu and WangHairuo in this paper, and analyzes the different translation strategies of two translators by means of text comparison of Beyond the Horizon. The author finds that Wang＇ s over foreignization and rigid translation leads to the losses of beauty of the original text.
