Ian McEwan points out the similarity between patriarchal society＇ s control over nature and women to the point in his novel Black Dogs. The ideas McEwan expresses in his novel coincide with those advocated by ecofeminists. Therefore, we can discover awareness of ecofeminism embedded in the novel and the author＇ s deep reflection on social problem by the analysis of the novel from the perspective of ecofeminism.
