收缩城市研究进展及战略思考

在世界城市化水平不断提高的大趋势下,收缩城市已在全球出现,以增长为假设前提的城市经济增长模型受到极大挑战,研究收缩城市发生发展和应对策略成为急迫任务。国内外研究者就收缩城市的特征、类型、内涵、识别、分布、机理、应对等问题展开研究,但系统的收缩城市理论尚未建立,特别是针对中国城市的局部收缩,相关研究还处于概念认识和实证探索的起步阶段,不足以应对由增长到收缩的重大转折。在中国城市化水平稳步提升的背景下,收缩城市将不可避免地发生,应有充足的理论和实证研究储备。在深入探索收缩城市内涵的基础上,应确立相对规范的收缩城市识别标准,重点探索中国收缩城市形成机理,提出有针对性的应对策略。

The shrinking cites have appeared all over the world under the trend of the world urbanization enhancing unceasingly, and the urban economic growth model with the assumption of growth is facing severe challenges. It is an urgent task to study the development and the coping strategy of shrinking cites. Researchers at home and abroad have studied the characteristics, category, connotation, identification, distribution, mechanism, coping of shrinking cites, but the systematic theory of shrinking cites has not been established, especially for the local shrinkage of Chinese cities, the relevant research is still in the initial stage of conceptual understanding and empirical exploration, not enough to cope with a significant turning point from growth to shrinking. Under the background of China＇ s urbanization level rising steadily, shrinking cities will inevitably occur, so we should have adequate reserves of theoretical and empirical research. On the basis of exploring the connotation of shrinking cities, we should establish a relative standard identification criterion, mainly explore the formation mechanism of shrinkage cities in China, and put forward the targeted countermeasures.
