元代楷书复兴的缘由及成就

The Analysis of Regular Script Revival in Yuan Dynasty

元代楷书复兴,既受书法史演进规律的支配,又受社会环境的影响。元代处于书法史后期的"尚法"阶段,对书法象征意义与社会功能的重视,以及对法度的追求,必然引导楷书逐渐走向复兴。元代政治统治对楷书的需求、理学风气的转变以及南北一统带来的思想转变作为外部因素也促进了楷书的发展。赵孟頫在楷书创作上的积极进取、开拓创新,并以其书坛地位引领众多书家积极从事楷书创作的做法,更是加速了元代楷书复兴的历史进程。

The revival of regular script in Yuan Dynasty was not only dominated by the evolutionary law of the history of calligraphy, but also influenced by the social environment, among which Zhao Mengfu＇s outstanding contribution was equally significant. Yuan Dynasty calligraphy was in the late calligraphy history of the ＂advocating law＂ stage, its emphasis on symbolic significance and social function of calligraphy, as well as the pursuit of the law, will inevitably lead to the revival of regular script gradually. The transformation of ideas, which was brought about by the demand on regular script of Yuan Dynasty political rule, the changing of Neo-Confucianism and the North-South unification, had promoted the development of regular script as external factors. Zhao Mengfu＇s aggressiveness and innovation on the regular script creation, and the using of his leading status in calligraphy circles to encourage more calligraphers to engage in regular script creation actually accelerated the course of the history of regular script.
