环境管制与外商直接投资区位分布——基于城市面板数据的实证研究

Environmental Regulations and Location Distribution of Foreign Direct Investment——Empirical Study Based on Urban Panel Data

文章把环境管制作为主要影响因素,研究了外资企业区位选择的内在机制。利用2003年-2006年我国192个城市的数据,通过建立Panel Data模型,实证研究了环境管制对我国外商直接投资区位分布的影响,结果显示环境管制是我国外商直接投资区位分布不均的原因,环境管制对吸引外商直接投资具有负效应,且这种负效应在中西部地区大于东部地区。

Using environmental regulations as a major factor,this paper analyzes the internal mechanism of the location selection of foreign-funded enterprises.On the basis of related date in China’s 192 cities between 2003 and 2006,using panel data model to analyze the impact of environmental regulations upon distribution of foreign direct investment,the results show that the environmental regulations have negative effects on the location distribution of foreign direct investment significantly,and the effect on the centra-western regions is larger than on the eastern region.
