Contamination of undesired microbe and drying of medium were often encountered in routine culture of plant pathogen.A simplified and effective method was introduced to resolve the problem.The main point of the method was that the medium plate was placed in a sealed common plastic storage box,and was then cultured in an incubator.The method is suitable especially for the culture operation which will take a long time.Apart from the plate culture,the method might also be used for culture in other forms to prevent moisture loss and contamination.
