The principle, process and key pints of software FMEA implementation are de- scribed. Then the failure modes and their causes of automobile control system software are proposed with a specific case, as well as the failure effects. It also creatively introduces ASIL level for the sever- ity evaluation. The results show the concretion and standardization of software FMEA.
