辽上京南发现一座辽代碑刻

One Piece of Tablet of Liao Dynasty Found in the South of Liao Shangjing Site

1973年,内蒙古自治区赤峰市巴林左旗辽上京城南南塔附近小辛庄村陈姓社员家中发现一座辽代碑刻。此碑刻已被当作井石若干年,磨损严重,字迹不清,巴林左旗文化部门立即将碑刻移入文化馆,现收藏于巴林左旗辽上京博物馆。碑刻高135、宽50、厚50厘米。石质为花岗岩。正面刻字11行,碑刻右下角有残缺。碑刻分为两部分,上为文字,下为武士图案。

One piece of tablet found in the south of Liao Shangjing site, Barin Left Banner, with a not very clear writing. The inscriptions can be divided into two parts, 11 lines of text on the upper part and warrior pattern on the lower part. This tablet should be the funeral monument or sacred way tablet.
