中西生命伦理的一种对话——以钱穆与史怀哲生命伦理观念之比较为例

A Dialogue Between Chinese and Western Life Ethics——A Case Study On the Comparison Of Mu Qian and Albert Schweitzer's Life Ethics

生命伦理问题是文明和文化对话的基础,也是伦理与道德对话的基点。因此,就生命伦理学领域的对话与研究而言,就有必要选取那些在文化立场与文明反思中各具特色的代表性人物来加以阐发,而钱穆和史怀哲就可作为这一领域的代表性人物。本文从文化与生命的内在关联这一问题意识出发,在文化生成的生命伦理的逻辑理路、生命伦理本身文化背景、生命伦理实践的取向差异等方面加以阐述,藉此以比较东西方生命伦理的差异及其对话的可能。

The issues on the bioethics are of significance which are not only the basis of the dialogues among different civilizations and cultures but the starting point of the dialogues between morality and ethics. Hence, while studying the dialogues concerning bioethics, there is a considerable need to expound the conceptions and theories held by the representative figures from different cultural backgrounds who have conducted different cultural reflection. Qian Mu and Albert Schweitzer are the representative celebrities from eastern and western cultural backgrounds respectively. Therefore, in this paper, with the starting point of the internal relationship between culture and life and detailed interpretation of the conceptions and theories of Qian Mu and Albert Schweitzer, this paper tries to contrast the following issues： the logic line of reasoning of the bioethics generated from different cultures, the different cultural backgrounds of the bioethics itself; and the differences in the practices of the bioethics for different cultures. On the basis of the foregoing expounding, the paper also contracts the differences between eastern and western bioethics and investigates the possibilities of the dialogues between them.
