The Gestation of Deng Xiaoping's Reform and Opening Thought During "Xiaoping Trail" Period

1969年10月至1973年2月是邓小平在江西下放时期,也被称为"小平小道"时期。在这三年里,邓小平对"文革"提出了质疑和反思;对毛泽东思想有了科学的理解;对我国经济落后、百姓贫困的基本国情、民情有了深入的了解;对国际的形势发展也有清楚的认识,尤其是集中思考了"什么是社会主义"以及"如何发展社会主义"的两大问题。经过三年的思考和构想,逐渐孕育出了中国未来改革开放的伟大思想。

In October 1969, Deng Xiaoping was demoted to Jiangxi Province and he stayed there to February 1973. Generally, people also call this time the Xiaoping trail period： It was also in this period that the Reform and Opening thought was pregnant. During these three years, Deng Xiaoping made introspect to the Cultural Revolution and got a scientific understanding about Mao Zedong Thought. At the same time, he also considered the reason for the economic backwardness of our nation, got a deeper un- derstanding of our National condition and International situation, in this period, Deng Xiaoping concentrated on two questions ： the first is what socialism is and the second is how to develop socialism. Through his three years＂ thinking and design the great thought Reform and Opening came up. And this thought gradually changes our nation~ future.
