摘要
20世纪80年代末90年代初,莫言在其作品中塑造了一系列侠客形象,这些侠客形象具有鲜明的反传统性,其反传统性主要体现为在行为基础上对"义"的反叛、在体貌武艺上对"强"的颠覆、在精神风貌上对"豪"的消解三个方面。莫言对传统侠客形象的颠覆,与传统作家的影响、外来思潮的导引以及其民间叙事立场息息相关。从莫言笔下的侠客形象身上,我们可以看出其对现实社会的批判态度、对传统侠客文化的矛盾心理及其特有的平民美学观念。
At the turn of the 1980s and the1990s, Mo Yan built a series of Xiake (swordsman) characters in his works. These characters are very different from the traditional ones as they do not conduct themselves based on the traditional virtue of righteous- ness; they are far from being strong in terms of physical appearance and martial arts; and they are neither wild nor ambitious. Mo Yan's untraditional characterization of Xiake has a lot to do with the influence of traditional writers, the inspiration of foreign thoughts, and the viewpoint of the writers' folk narrative. From these Xiake characters, readers learn Mo Yan's critical attitude to- wards the social realities, his contradictory ideas about the traditional Xiake culture, and his special aesthetics as an ordinary man.
