摘要
通过在加拿大高校为期3周的研修考察,笔者发现加拿大高校办学的特色在于:注重大学定位的差异化和特色培养;注重加强与企业的联系及产学研合作;注重学生专业技能的训练;注重学生创新创业能力的培养;注重面向行业企业的应用研究和开发;注重教师实践能力和教学技能的训练;注重以课程开发为核心的课程建设;注重学生自主学习意识的培养。这些做法为我国地方高校的转型发展提供了有益的启示:地方高校应朝着特色定位与差异化办学方向努力;深度推进并构建"产教融合,校企合作"的长效机制;构建对接产业链的专业学科体系,完善学科专业,增设淘汰机制;以应用型人才培养为导向,进行人才培养模式创新;建设与应用型人才培养相吻合的实践教学体系;适应转型发展的要求,改革与创新人事制度;提升社会服务能力;加强教学科研设施建设;对图书馆进行改造和功能拓展,使之成为学生的学习中心。
After a three-week research and study in Canada, the author of this paper has learned that Canadian universities 1 ) have different orientations and provide characteristic education, 2) value the connection between schools and enterprises and the cooperation among industries, universities, and research, 3 ) focus on cultivating talents with professional skills, developing students' innovative ability and entrepreneurial spirit, promoting application-oriented research and development to meet the needs of industries and companies, improving teachers' practical ability and teaching skills, constructing curriculum with course development at the core, and raising students' awareness of independent learning. China's local universities and colleges should learn from Canadian u- niversities in order to promote the transformational development of their own. China's Local universities and colleges should 1 ) run with different orientations and provide diverse education; 2) further the construction of a long-term mechanism to integrate industries and universities and improve the cooperation between schools and enterprises; 3 ) establish specialties the industries need, improve the specialties they already have, and eliminate the specialties that can no longer serve the society; 4) focus on providing applied talents and innovating the talent cultivation mode; 5 ) offer practical teaching in order to cultivate applied talents; 6) reform and in- novate the personnel system according to the requirements of the transformational development; 7 ) improve universities' ability to serve the society ; 8 ) strengthen the construction of facilities for teaching and research ; 9) redesign the library and provide more li- brary services for students.
