在文化艺术方面,中国虽拥有得天独厚的自然地理资源,但却未曾结出与之相称的成果——早期的青铜艺术除外。假若对世界人类各大文明的艺术形态进行一番巡视,可以感觉到中国艺术在材质的层面上,其趋势是日渐弱化,原因是中华民族主动抛弃了"痛感文化"。这里所说的"痛感文化"来源于中华文化地理的基本存在性质。在视觉领域,青铜艺术可作为"痛感文化"的代表。在听觉领域,最先体现在一种内在的歌声——流转于长江、黄河沿岸的劳动号子。数千万年前,印度板块与亚洲大陆碰撞挤压,决定了栖居在华夏大地上的中华民族的生存处境——高差巨大的河流、裸露的高原、稀少的植被、连绵的群山和严酷的气候,它构成了中国文化本应具有的重要特征——深刻的"痛感"。作为一个对中国文化地理进行彻底追究的行走者,试图以自己的生命体验来对中国自然地理与文化地理进行不断的思考,将"号子"这种吟唱形式中的痛感印记还原为绘画语言的表达,创造出"中国式的原在的地形学"的艺术文本。21世纪的中国将诞生真正的"精神艺术",它将从自身雄厚的地理资源中汲取力量,构建一座新的艺术高峰,同时,这种精神艺术将超越民族地理界限,历史性地把超验精神价值传统从西方迎回东方,从走失的母土中重新植回精神之树。

In the aspect of culture and art, China has a peculiar natural geographical resource, yet, there are few resuits except bronze art in early times. If we take a look at various art forms of different civilizations in the whole world, we could find that Chinese art gradually weakens in materials since China gives up the cultural sense of pain. Cultural sense of pain mentioned here generates from the basic attribute of Chinese cultural geography. In visual region, bronze art could be the representative of cultural sense of pain. And in audio region, it firstly represents in a inner song, that is the work song popular in Yellow river regions. Thousands of years ago, the collision between Indian Plate and Asian Continent decided the substantial environment of Chinese people. Rivers with grand altitude difference, uncovered highland, few vegetation, continuous hills, and harsh weathers are composing significant features of Chinese culture, that is a very profound sense of pain. As a walker keen of studying Chinese cultural geography, I try to revive the work song to a painting language, and to create an artistic text of characteristically Chinese primitive geomorphology. In 21st century, there is a true spiritual art born in China. It will take in power from its own abundant geographical resources to construct a new art peak. Meanwhile, such a spiritual art will transcend the boundary of national geography, and will historically welcome transcendent spiritual value to orient from west, and will re - plant the spiritual tree in the parentsoil.
