Ulcerative colitis is an uncurable and refractory disease.Professor Tang Zhipeng thought that although the disease was at the intestines,but the root of it was at the spleen.As a result,he often used the method of regulating spleen,such as tonifying the spleen and benefiting intestine,warming the spleen and stopping diarrha,clearing spleen and dispelling stagnant and dispelling melancholy and comforting spleen,receiving good effect.
